  • Family with children

I like Uninterrupted view from my balcony. It was spectacular. I definitely will prefer to stay again at alpine village.

  • Older travelers

Superb location right on the lakeside, close to Queenstown central. Spacial and very comfortable.

  • Couple

Everything it was lovely with a stunning view :).. Thankyou

Parking was alittle silly and the drive way too which was abit steep, but otherwise all good.

  • Family with children

    Alot of space,position.location,warm.

  • Older travelers

The space in the apartment and cooking facilities made it a really comfortable place to stay. The views of the lake and the mountains were lovely. The walk path around the lake went right by the apartments. Would definitely stay again if in Queenstown.

  • Older travelers

Garaged parking is a plus. And view is good.

I got charged with a name other than Alpine village which caused some confusing at the beginning and they did not reply to my email politely. And we are required to bring all rubbish out of the apartment on check-out. And keep the place clean. Otherwise they will charge you for that.

  • Group of friends

Dirty dishes Stain on duvet covers very uncomfortable beds, as hard as an ironing board dirty shower, has used soap in it and black hairs No light in bedroom bedside lamp very basic facilities, no platters, no vase nothing, so very cold unhomely interior. Not even a magazine. We felt we had paid too much $450 for two nights and the beds were very uncomfortable, dirty shower, very dirty dishes, dirty stain on duvet. Very dissapointing. Feel like we deserve a refund of some sort, if this had been a proper hotel we would have.

  • Older travelers

The accommodation was roomy, clean and had a great view.

The slatted blinds in the bedroom let in too much light even when they were closed. No wifi or skytv. The tv was poor. Large pot hole in the driveway coming in from the road.

  • Older travelers

The location was excellent and the uninterrupted views of the lake and mountains were spectacular, especially when you wake to them covered in snow. All the comforts you needed in such an amazing setting. The apartment was beautifully appointed with all new and clean appliances. The locations is tranquil and away from the hussle and bustle yet close enough to everything. Will tell all our friends and can't wait to return. Thank you!

Just a little hassle with parking - our allocated parking spot was not always available on our return from a long day out. Not a huge problem but unexpected.

  • Older travelers

Location and spectacular views . Privacy and quietness.

Web site specified dishwasher and there was no dishwasher. There could have been more kitchen items in cupboards -eg salad bowls and serving dishes. No plastic wrap or foil provided - for the sake of a few dollars this would have been very helpful.(include in accommodation price )- we were there for 7 nights so was appropriate.

  • Couple

    Clean and comfortable

Toilet paper supply insufficient; heavy cutlery

  • Older travelers

Mountain Views Easy access to local bus service which ran early till late negating the need for you own transport even for the airport transfer

Had an interupted view ff the lake because of appartments in front of us

  • Family with children

Looking at the Remarkable s from sitting room. Good showers and bathrooms.

Poor internet coverage / connections. No basic TV programs, no TV3 or prime no free-view and no sky. No proper dining table to sit and enjoy breakfast. Not enough glasses for drinking water or wine. Both bedrooms have no windows that you can open to outside. Poor arrangement for parking, neighbours park their car opposite the apartment garage you have to back to your own garage. No body answer your message if you leave on management phone, no body to talk to at the apartment's complex. I am not exaggerating here at all, I had wonderful holiday in Queens town itself but the apartment has too many shortfalls that needs to be fixed.

  • Older travelers

The views were amazing. The location was excellent. The information regarding key pick-up etc was great and this process worked well. The complex is modern and it has great access to the walking track around the lake.

The cleanliness wasn't quite what we would have expected. For example, we would like to see the duvets on the bed cleaned more frequently as we noticed marks on them. The furniture and some of the appliances had definite signs of overuse and "wear and tear".

  • Older travelers

It was quiet. and we felt very safe in the apartment, had a great view of the lake, enjoyed sitting outside. The kitchen living area was set out well and we loved the bathroom with it tiles and bench tops.

Small things, we stayed four nights and there was only 2 packets of dish liquid to wash the dishes. The bed was way to hard for a good nights sleep.
